1999 15/2-Hand Red Roan Mare

Impressives Redwood or “Red”, as we call her, traces to the AQHA Hall-of-Famer, Impressive on the sire’s side and AQHA Hall-of-Famer, Joe Hancock on her dam’s side.  Red was bred to Mr Magic Zip from Anderson Quarter Horses for 2004 & 2005.  Her 2004 filly, Redwoods Zippinmagic, is in the show circuit in Middletown, NY with Miguel Agredano.  Her 2005 colt, Zips Dakota Magic, is being shown in the AQHA circuit in Cobleskill, NY by Jodi Ferguson and doing very well.  Red's 2007 filly out of Dynamic Presence; a grandson of the great Dynamic Deluxe, is owned and being shown AQHA by Andrea LaManque.  Redwood was bred to Doc A Mos, from Bednarek's Quarter Horses of Jamesville, NY for her 2009 foal.  Doc A Mos is a superior western pleasure stud out of the great pleasure horse Doc O Mos.  Redwoods' 2009 filly, Mosely A Star, is for sale and you can see her pictures on the sale page.  Redwood has been left open for the 2010 season for our lesson kids.

A Jazzy Investment or "Jazz" as we call her, has been our first AQHA show prospect.  Jazz is the granddaughter to the NSBA Hall-of-Famer, The Invester, and great-granddaughter to AQHA Hall-of-Famer, Zippo Pat Bars.  She has Feature and the AQHA Hall-of-Famer, Impressive, on her dam's side.  Jazz has been shown in the AQHA circuit since she was three.  She took our daughter, Erica, to the All American Quarter Horse Congress in 2006 for Novice Youth Showmanship.  Jazz has over 10 AQHA youth points and led Erica to the 2006 Empire State Novice Youth Western High Point.  She was high point in novice youth showmanship and halter mares 3 and over.  Jazz also took one of our "small fry" kids to his first AQHA show in the fall of 2008 and they placed 3rd and 4th in small fry showmanship and 3rd and 6th in small fry pleasure.  Jazz has done well in AQHA and open shows. 

Jazz's 2010 foal, "Asmokin Bita Jazz" out of the paint stud "Little Bit of Smoke" is NOT for sale.  We intend to keep him and show him in the future.  Check back for more pictures of our up and coming paint show prospect!

Jazz is now in foal to "Good Cruiser", a son of the former all time leading sire of pleasure winners, "Zippos Mr. Goodbar" for a May 2011 baby.  Good Cruiser is from JDG Quarter Horses of Maysville, GA.  We are really excited about this breeding!  We're keeping our fingers crossed for a bay roan colt!!

Asmokin Bita Jazz
Asmokin Bita Jazz or DOC was born May 7, 2010.  He is a beautiful sorrel paint with a bold face.  Doc is a real cutie and we are delighted.  This one is a keeper for sure!  Check back during the summer for more pictures of Doc as he grows. Top

Hanna 2008

Ima Blonde Invester, or "Hanna" as she is called around the barn, is the granddaughter to the NSBA Hall-of-Famer, The Invester, and great-granddaughter to AQHA Hall-of-Famer, Zippo Pat Bars.  Hanna traces to Two Eyed Jack and Poco Pine on her dam's side.  She has 109 Palomino points in halter, lunge line, and pleasure.  We're still deciding when and who to breed her to.
