Finger
Lakes Rides, Inc. & 4W FARM Quarter Horses offers beginner
riding lessons for ages 6 years and up.
Lessons are held in the evenings Monday-Thursday, starting May 1st
and running till November 1st. All lessons are group lessons
and typically involve 2 one hour sessions per week. However, lesson
schedules can be flexible to fit into today’s busy lifestyles.
We
have a 45 ft. x 100 ft. outdoor arena, 50 ft. x 110 ft. indoor arena,
and a 50 ft. round pen to vary the riding experience. Trips off the
property into the nearby fields and woods provides variation, fun, and
excitement to the riding experience.
Finger
Lakes Rides strives to provide the safest, challenging, enjoyable
lessons for its riders. Games on horseback make lessons fun while
providing valuable skills that will be used forever.

Arabian donated to the center in 2003. He is a remarkably quiet, docile horse. He is always the perfect
gentleman with the children.

Impressive
"Eve"
"Eve"
is a 19-year-old registered bay Quarter horse. She
is a 15.3 hand
large bodied mare that is very good with the children. She is always
willing and has a trot that any beginner can sit like a pro.
Eve
is owned by 4W FARM Quarter Horses.
She was left open this year for use in the lesson program.

Redwood
"Red"
“Red”
is a 5-year-old registered red roan Quarter horse. She is
just starting her job as a lesson horse. She is used for the more
advanced children who are ready to lope. Red has a great disposition and
loves attention. She is also in foal to Mr.
Magic Zip for a 2005 foal.
Red is
owned by 4W FARM Quarter Horses.

Edie is a 22 year old, 13 hand, AHR
Halflinger pony who rides and drives and has been a favorite in
the lesson program. Because of her small size we are able to
lift handicapped children on her with ease. She is well behaved
and always a lady with the small children. |
